We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join the Precision Medicine Research Program at PA Biotech Center in partnership with Capital Health System, Inc. to perform research toward the discovery and development of cell-free RNA and/or DNA-based biomarkers for chronic viral infections and cancer. We are particularly interested in the development of assays for accurate quantification of hepatitis B virus DNA integrations and assays for early detection of liver cancer.

• PhD or MD/PhD in virology, cancer biology, biochemistry or pathology is required.
• Extensive research experience in molecular biology and RNA/DNA-based assay development is required.
• Experience in genomics and bioinformatics is preferred.
• Strong skills in writing scientific publications and grant proposals are highly desired.
