The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) welcomes Quartzy, the world’s leading online lab productivity platform.

Quartzy’s mission is to help life science technologies reach the market faster. Its platform brings together lab inventory, requests, approvals and a vast supply marketplace backed by its own distribution network, giving research teams one place to manage everything between idea and experiment. Companies can start using Quartzy as a two-person lab and continue relying on it as they grow, advance into the clinic, and eventually reach the public markets. The infrastructure they put in place on day one scales with them.

For the smallest companies, the immediate benefits are simple: one place to order supplies, competitive prices, fast delivery and real support. As teams grow, shared inventory, streamlined approvals, and centralized order records simplify collaboration, improve organization, and reduce lab management time. To make these capabilities accessible from the start, Quartzy is offering PABC companies exciting discounts, including free access to its platform for companies with five or fewer full-time employees.

For many companies, excitement about the science is rarely in short supply. What separates those that succeed is execution, and great execution depends on infrastructure. That’s where the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center and Quartzy come together. The Center provides the space, services and guidance that help young companies get off the ground and Quartzy provides the digital infrastructure and supplies they need to keep moving, hit their milestones, and scale without having to rebuild their operations along the way.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Quartzy as a strategic sponsor for the PABC,” Louis P. Kassa III, MPA, the Center’s CEO. “Their support will play a key role in advancing our mission to promote innovation, collaboration and scientific breakthroughs in the life sciences.”

The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, which has more than 100 member companies and locations in Doylestown and Philadelphia, is a nationally recognized hub for life sciences entrepreneurship.

“Early-stage teams don’t have the luxury of a dedicated procurement department. Quartzy gives them the tools to buy smart without slowing down their science.,” said Adam Regelmann, Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer of Quartzy. “PABC has built one of the best early stage life sciences communities in the country, and we’re glad to be putting real resources behind it.”

To launch its involvement with the PABC, Quartzy will be hosting a two kickoff events; one on October 27 at the Doylestown campus at 12 p.m. and another on Oct. 28 at B+labs. More information about the event is coming soon.
